No, you don't make rules for me

I just told to myself with my first post that I will keep my blog active with at-least one post a month and here it is on last day of October a so damn beautiful month that gives you the rain and all beautiful weather and with that fun comes the nasty roads with water, that pretty much sums up life doesn't it shit comes with everything, like it comes for free with anything and everything you get in life.

Okay so do I have to really post this? I mean is someone imposing a rule that I should with a knife on my neck? Well that always happens, sometimes its the knife, sometimes the arrears, sometimes a pay cut for being late to office! Oh yes the managers want you to be there on time though you wanna enjoy the October weather with a nice sleep. But why? You may be bitching about this too! But you will be a manager someday and you will impose the same rules just because you were forced to let go of your precious sleep by your manager someday when you get the power you wanna do it to someone else.

So can we be completely free? No, there are obviously the rules of nature! Oh fuck we aren't some super natural shit so we have to obey the rules of nature. But what about the rules society imposes on us? I guess there are rules we can break and get away with but not everything. So whats the point then? Is there any use talking about it. No!

But hey there are these rules that we make for ourselves. Sometimes its like what I do here making at-least a post a month, now this is fun, this is something that I do love. But there are times when we get shit on ourselves, but why? Because others will call us stupid, they will make fun of us, but is that a reason worthy enough to get ourselves entangled in shitty rules?(I love wearing loose lousy shirts, I feel comfortable in them, but people feel I should wear some god damn suits and make fun of my lousy shirts. Why should I even bother? Why should I let them make rules for me? Am sure no-one will arrest me for wearing my lousy shirts). Of-course everything in life comes with some shit but why do we get ourselves into shit because some god damn fool thinks we shouldn't do that?

  1. nice one da ....
but, i feel that u can wear loose shorts or trousers wen u r off-duty... and not wen ur doin some sort of official work, so as to maintain uniformity amongst ur team and to show that u r a team man too... this is also in reference with: wen i saw u in dos loose outfits after that interview(hope u remember)
    P.S.:
a dress code s maintained in certain firms to show that they are united as a team.. many firms which depend on the team rather than d individual brilliance adhere to this strategy..

  2. @Harish So does this mean - companies that dont have dress code cant work in teams? When u are meeting some customers then okay, if not then it makes no sense to me. You can probably enlighten me?

And the interviewers said they loved that am being myself and not fabricating myself to impress interviewers :)

  3. sometimes we have to please others, not always though. Consider this scenario, Obama dressing in low rise jeans and loose shirt, It will make people lose confidence in him even though he works the same way. I believe in this principle "EAT for yourself and DRESS for others"

  4. For me its dress what's comfortable :D But sometimes you can't, for me its formals in my office and for Obama its in-front of people :D But why do I have to dress up like some lousy fool on road wants me to? When choosing between giving up my comfort and some fool not making fun of me, I choose the first :)

  5. yeah.. that's what i meant.. At some point of time, you might have to meet your clients. At that time, JUST to make others and your client comfortable, you need to follow such codes to gain their confidence.
reg. interview: It depends... not always u get d same kinda response. As far as I am concerned, its pretty good if you are not on either extremes... neither dress up like a Raymond's model for an interview's sake nor a school boy who loves to dress up just d way he likes. something in between will be far more better, i guess.
its d combination of first n last lines of Godson, that i always prefer...
    hope you are enlightened now..

  6. @harish I asked this ' So does this mean - companies that dont have dress code cant work in teams?' :) Are you serious that to work in teams a requirement is uniformity in dress? Then all companies must have uniforms like schools I guess :P
